The 2mm Aluminium Ember Guard Mesh system offers premium bushfire protection for tile roofs, suitable for use in bushfire-prone areas and compliant with AS3959 requirements for ember guards. The woven aluminium construction features a 2mm x 2mm aperture that prevents embers, fine leaf debris, pests, and vermin from entering gutters, valleys, and roof junctions while allowing rainwater to drain freely.

The mesh is finished with AkzoNobel Interpon D1010 powder coating, a premium-grade polyester coating designed for architectural applications. It offers excellent resistance to corrosion, UV degradation, and colour fading, ensuring long-lasting performance in Australia’s harsh climatic conditions.

This system is designed to integrate with the contours and overlapping surfaces of terracotta and concrete tile roofs, providing effective protection without compromising roof function or visual appeal.

Kit Types:

Standard Gutter Kit:

The Standard Gutter Kit for tile roofs includes woven 2mm aluminium mesh, colour-matched trim for securing the mesh to the gutter edge, and all required fasteners. This system provides a seamless finish and robust protection along the gutter lines of tiled roofs.

Box Gutter Kit:

The Box Gutter Kit is designed for box-style gutters commonly used on residential and commercial tile roofs. Supplied with mesh, trim, and fasteners, it prevents debris and ember accumulation, supporting reliable water flow and reducing fire risk.

Roof Valley Kit:

The Roof Valley Kit provides essential protection for roof valleys on tile roofs, where debris and embers can naturally collect. The kit includes mesh and fasteners to secure the system directly within the valley area. Trim is not required for this application, as valleys are secured differently to gutter edges.

Roof to Roof Kit:

The Roof to Roof Kit prevents debris build-up and ember ingress at junctions where two sections of tiled roof meet. Supplied with mesh, colour-matched trim, and fasteners, this system ensures consistent protection across the roofline while maintaining an integrated aesthetic.
