The new, slim Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100 from Knick meets challenging applications in temperature measurement and also in safety-related areas.

Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100 has integrated broad-range power supply and operates via infrared interface.

Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100 has high accuracy and reliable 3-port isolation and comes in compact 6-mm housing with SIL 2 approval to IEC/EN 61508 (SIL 3 with redundant architecture). The slim modular housing saves enclosure space and allows extremely high component density.

Easy adjustment available directly on Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100- also when disconnected - with essential instructions printed on the device. Universal programming facilities available via IrDA interface and meet the functional safety approval: SIL 2 to IEC 61508.

Automatic recognition of 2-, 3-, or 4-wire connection of resistive sensors is achieved. Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100 offers universal usability due to 24 V DC to 230 V AC broad-range power supply or Quick connection to 24 V DC supplies through DIN rail bus connectors.

Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100 offers 3-port isolation for interference-free operation in all applications with 8-pin housing - just 6 mm in width

The Temperature Transmitter finds ideal applications in control and monitoring systems, SIL 2(3) rated safety shutdown systems and for similar critical jobs. Analogue signals with 0 ... 20 mA / 4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 5 V / 0 ... 10 V are available at the output of the transmitter.

Knick offers different model versions which are optimally suited for the different measuring tasks – simple and inexpensive devices specifically tailored to their respective task or universal transmitters for a wide range of sensors.

The new ThermoTrans P 32100 is designed for continuous temperature detection with virtually all existing sensors such as resistance thermometers and thermocouples, offering maximum performance in the smallest of spaces.

The temperature transmitter also supports other sensors with mV output, such as shunt resistors for current measurement. Temperature Transmitter ThermoTrans P32100 automatically adjusts to the connection of resistance thermometers (2-, 3-, or 4-wire). The characteristics of a large number of sensors are already stored in the device. All standard thermocouples can be detected with internal or external cold junction compensation.
