Jeeva Klui resort, a tropical beachfront resort and spa located on the Indonesian island of Lombok, has opted to use Sunbrella fabrics on both their outdoor and indoor furniture.

Sunbrella is renowned as being one of the best performing fabrics on the market, as it can withstand even the most treacherous outdoor conditions. The fabric is waterproof, easy to maintain, and colours do not fade.

All materials used to construct the resort come from Lombok using local building and craft traditions such as split river stone, concrete breeze-blocks, richly pigmented hand-made terracotta tiles and shell inlay panels.

Sunbrella fabrics were combined with these local materials, along with traditional Lombok ikat patterns, pottery and baskets to complete the interior and exterior fitout. An array of different coloured Sunbrella fabrics were used to create a unique outdoor resort setting.

Vibrant turquoises were used on umbrellas and sun-lounges, while tones of mustard and tan feature on the day beds. These have since become signature resort colours.

Sunbrella stripes were used on the daybed cushions, and link with the bamboo screens. Sunbrella fabrics also feature inside the resort, where subtle grey and green mixes appear on the more sophisticated reception lounges.

Sunbrella provide customers with an impressive warranty period, ten years for awnings and five years for furniture fabric. This exemplifies the fact that their products really do withstand the test of time.

Sunbrella fabrics can be used for multiple purposes based on customer's needs, from shadecloth for an outdoor patio or pool through to vibrant coloured fabrics in the living room. Sunbrella fabrics provide the sophistication and style, along with the protection you need when outdoors.
