A range of door seals from Kilargo was installed at the Gold Coast University Hospital to cover various facilities.

Designed by GCUH Architecture for the Department of Health, Queensland, the $1.23 billion Gold Coast hospital comprises of seven main buildings, with a total floor space of around 170,000 square metres. The 750-bed purpose-built hospital located on Parklands Drive in Southport offers improved patient privacy and infection control, on-site research facilities, and a teaching hospital for medical, nursing and allied health students.

Kilargo’s door seals were specified for the corridor smoke doors to theatre rooms, patient wards and office facilities. Fire Door Meeting Stile (FDMS) seals were also utilised on pairs of fire doors throughout the healthcare facility.

Kilargo products installed at the hospital included IS1212 Flexi-Wing perimeter seals, IS7020si perimeter seals, IS7080si perimeter seals, IS7095si perimeter seals, IS7085si perimeter seals, IS7071si meeting stile seals, IS7060si meeting stile seals, IS8010si automatic door bottom seals, IS8020si automatic door bottom seals and IS8090si automatic door bottom seals.
