Flexshield acoustic curtains provide sound control in Toowoomba neighbourhood

    Flexshield

Flexshield provided a noise control solution to well-known construction company, Allroads at their project site in Toowoomba.

Allroads received complaints from neighbouring houses about the excessive noise created by some pumps at the construction site. Flexshield supplied acoustic curtains to surround the pump, reducing the noise from 65.26dB to 51.06dB, and minimising the impact on neighbouring residents.

According to Aaron Price of Allroads, the project site in Toowoomba at Ballin Drive had some noisy pumps. Flexshield’s sonic curtains helped reduce the sound to the satisfaction of the neighbours.

Available for hire, Flexshield acoustic curtains provide temporary noise reduction for industrial, construction and demolition works. Suitable for short term or long term applications, the temporary noise barriers are installed quickly and easily, and can be mounted to temporary site fencing and scaffolding. The acoustic curtains are also fireproof and weatherproof for increased safety and performance.

Flexshield sonic curtains are ideal for applications such as machine noise from saws, drills and pumps; compressor and generator noise; construction noise; demolition noise; refurbishments on occupied buildings; and earth and road works noise.
