Paul Harrison has been appointed as principal in Buchan’s Adelaide studio.

After working overseas, Harrison joined Buchan’s Melbourne studio in 2005 before moving to the Adelaide studio in 2010, where he made a significant contribution to many Buchan developments in Adelaide over the last decade, including the upcoming SkyCity redevelopment and expansion, Burnside Village and Rundle Place.

“We look forward to the continued success of Buchan’s Adelaide team with Paul’s strategic ambition, creative vision and breadth of skills and knowledge,” says Bruce Shaw,

Buchan group managing principal, adding that his “interest in architecture began with the freedom of creating and building objects on the farm and evolved into what could be communicated and shaped through design.”

“As architects we have the ability to shape the built environment and contribute to the story of a city,” says Harrison.

As principal, Harrison will lead the Adelaide team in “delivering Buchan’s standards of client care and continuing its commitment to be a globally recognised leader in design”, says the firm.
