Sound Barrier Systems recently fabricated and installed high performance windows in the recording, broadcast and film projection rooms at AFTRS, Australia's leading national screen arts and broadcast school.

The window specification consisted of double and triple acoustically isolated MDF frames, glazed with high performance angled glass with silca packs and perforated metal sheeting.

These high performance windows were installed in the recording, broadcast and film projection rooms throughout the new state of the art complex located at the Entertainment Quarter adjacent to Fox Studios at Moore Park.

The acoustic performance of these detailed and complex windows was paramount to the overall success of the $45m AFTRS construction project. AFTRS selected Sound Barrier Systems because of its track record of providing the highest quality acoustically designed window systems in Australia.
