Poliform Australia announces the launch of CC-Tapis’ unique collection of hand knotted rugs, available for the first time in Australia.
A leading Milanese brand renowned throughout Europe for the unique handmade quality of its rugs, CC-Tapis utilises pattern and colour to push the limits of contemporary rug design. Founded in 2011, the brand is widely known for its traditional making techniques, use of high quality materials, and experimental innovations in design and colour.
Hand-knotted by expert Tibetan artisans in Nepal, CC-Tapis rugs are made from environment-friendly raw materials such as wool, hemp, aloe and silk, which are often used in their original, undyed form, or coloured with vegetable dyes.
The traditional, handmade nature of CC-Tapis rugs also enables a range of finishings such as loop, embossing or varying pile heights.

CC-Tapis’ Oldie Collection is a fusion of new knotting techniques and undyed Himalayan wool pile to create a pleasing interplay between the traditional and the contemporary.
The Contemporary Collection features a modern-day mood and Western aesthetic while the Signature Collection caters to specific requests, producing custom-designed rugs, which allow for adaptable dimensions and offer a choice of more than 1200 natural-dyed colours.
