For plasterboard, there is a need to reduce the consumption of thermal energy for the plaster mill and the plasterboard plant. Knauf seeks to improve energy efficiencies through operational upgrades and possible use of alternative energy sources.
Waste management occurs throughout the plasterboard life cycle. This plasterboard is 100 per cent recyclable at all production stages.
