Pre-used JBL speakers were recycled and installed at Kipling’s Garage Bar on Sydney’s Upper North Shore. The bar is a unique space converted from the shell of a 1920s garage into an industrial chic venue.
DJW Projects was commissioned to install the audio system for the venue with manager Dave Coxon admitting the job was built on a shoestring.
However, the project also ultimately showed the reliability of JBL speakers as the entire system was constructed from pre-loved JBL Control 30 speakers with JBL Contractor subs. According to Dave Coxon, the system is proof that when one buys high quality speakers and looks after them, they will have at least a 10-year lifetime, or even longer.
Owner Helen Thompson is delighted with the JBL install by DJW Projects remarking that the sound system really adds to the space, indoors and outdoors.
