Hettich has engineered a new Push to open Silent function for ArciTech drawers that combines a mechanical Push to open mechanism with the convenience and luxurious feel of the Silent system.
Featuring narrow gaps between the drawer fronts and optimum adjustment for various applications, the Push to open Silent function allows a classy handle-less design and delivers high user convenience.
The Push to open Silent function is completely mechanical but is able to do what has previously only been possible with electromechanical systems by bringing together a handle-less design with a high level of drawer opening and closing convenience.
The Push to open Silent mechanism is triggered simply by pressing the drawer front. Users of ArciTech drawers will discover the convenience of automatic opening in terms of time savings and ease of use, especially when both hands are full. Closing the drawer automatically reloads the Push to open mechanism before the drawer glides home in a gentle movement.
Cleverly devised setting capabilities enable Push to open Silent to perfectly adjust to different drawer sizes and weights. Key benefits also include adjustable release sensitivity and opening force providing a high level of convenience throughout; and integrated depth adjustment facility permitting perfect front panel alignment with narrow gap between drawer fronts.
The Push to open Silent mechanism simplifies the process of creating handle-less kitchens and furniture because drawers, runners, carcases and front panels can be used without having to alter them. The mechanism simply fits under the drawer base, scoring in particular where there’s no room for an electromechanical system behind the drawer.

ArciTech is available in two drawer side profiles and six rear panel heights. For the high-end segment, the range comes with the option of a 126mm drawer side profile height with Design Side in glass or TopSide in perfectly matching steel and rear panel height of 250mm.
