The new A310 series thermal imaging cameras from FLIR Infrared Cameras & Thermal Imaging are designed for multi-tasking with their ability for both temperature monitoring and security surveillance.

The FLIR A310 f and FLIR A310 pt thermal imaging cameras are dual use systems suitable for temperature monitoring of critical installations as well as perimeter security. They can be installed almost anywhere to monitor critical equipment and other valuable assets.

The new FLIR A310 thermal imaging cameras are ideal for monitoring applications in power generation and distribution facilities, sub-stations, critical equipment, and natural gas processing, transport and storage as well as fire prevention in waste storage areas, flare detection, and fire prevention in wood and coal piles. Problems can be identified before they escalate, preventing downtime and enhancing worker safety.

The A310 pt allows the operator to monitor the perimeter continuously, while equipment in the field of view can simultaneously be monitored for temperature changes. At selected times, the A310 pt can also quickly audit temperatures of equipment in other locations and return to the main task of security monitoring.

The FLIR A310 pt pan/tilt has all the necessary features and functions to build single- or multi-camera solutions. Large areas can be monitored using the camera’s pan ±360° and tilt ±45° function. Typical applications include monitoring coal piles, waste bunkers and sub-stations. The multi-sensor FLIR A310 pt includes a lowlight 36x zoom colour CCD camera.

The fixed mounted A310 f camera is also ideal for monitoring critical installations as well as protecting the perimeter at the same time. FLIR A310 f is Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP compliant, allowing for easy sharing of analysis and alarm results with PLCs. Features also include image-masking functionality and Power over Ethernet (PoE).
