Fairview announces the appointment of James Newman as a facade consultant within their Sydney sales team. The appointment capitalises on the company’s continued success in the cladding products market, with the Vitracore G2 becoming Australia’s No. 1 deemed non-combustible aluminium composite panel and the launch of a number of new products including VitraArt and Vitrastone in 2016.
James brings considerable sales experience to his new role at Fairview. In his previous role as Team Manager SME Sales at BOC South Pacific, he was responsible for managing Relationship Managers and Sales Support Specialists, and handling a portfolio of national group buying accounts worth $15 million. His responsibilities also included managing the sales performance and activity output of Relationship Managers; reviewing and marketing of targeted offers to buying groups; re-contracting and re-negotiating contracts with buying groups; and tracking and reporting of daily activities and sales performance.
James’ responsibilities at Fairview will include managing the sales process for new and existing clients with the Sydney sales team as well as facilitating relationships with key decision makers and developing and implementing strategies to grow sales. Additionally, he will be the key account manager for Fairview’s popular Equitone fibre cement exterior panels that the company has been exclusively distributing within NSW since 2011.
