DecorLini and DecorStyle panels from Decor Systems were specified for Forrest Hall, a state-of-the-art accommodation facility in Perth, WA, designed to attract the world's brightest scholars and help them achieve excellence in their chosen fields.
Rivalling the facilities provided by prestigious scholarship programs such as the Rhodes Scholarship in the UK and Fulbright Program in the US, Forrest Hall, an initiative of the Forrest Research Foundation, is designed by renowned Western Australian architect Kerry Hill, and is the first of its kind in the Asia Pacific region.
The wall lining originally chosen for the project was sourced from an overseas supplier. However, the product was rejected when the supplier was unable to provide the required fire testing for their panels.
Decor Systems was able to match the same design intent as well as provide the required acoustic and fire reports, ensuring the desired project outcomes for the client.
