Australian Pump Industries displayed the full range of pump equipment at the 2013 HRIA Convention at Luna Park.
Exhibiting at the event for the first time, the company reported tremendous interest in their full range of heavy duty ‘hire special’ pressure cleaners, mine spec trash pumps and Tsurumi submersibles, from the hire and rental professionals at the HRIA Convention.
Australian Pump’s complete range of pressure cleaners has been designed specifically for tough construction, mining and rental applications. Beginning with contracts with some of Australia’s biggest hire and rental operators, the company received inspiration and direction from hire professionals. Aussie Pump’s Hamish Lorenz thanks the rental industry for encouraging them to move away from European and American designs, towards simple, strong and safe machines.
The company’s product range includes compact electric, petrol engine drive and, more recently, diesel drive machines in the 2000psi through to 7300psi product range. All machines are designed to suit tough on-site conditions especially in construction and mining applications.
To ensure only top quality, genuine engines are used, the company standardised on Honda petrol drives and Yanmar or Kubota diesel drives for its entire product range.
Australian Pump also displayed a comprehensive range of heavy duty ’mine spec’ trash pumps, designed for rental companies and end users. The product line extends from 2” right through to 4” and even 6” pumps built tough for Australian users.
According to Lorenz, their 6” heavy duty trash pumps combine true solid handling capability with cost competitive prices.
The company also used the event platform to re-launch submersible pumps from Tsurumi, one of the world's biggest manufacturers of submersible pumps with a manufacturing capacity of over one million pumps per year at their Kyoto plant. Tsurumi’s products for tough rental applications include cast 316 stainless steel pumps for corrosive liquid tasks and a range of 1000v dewatering pumps, sold at the same price as normal 415v configurations.
