For past seven years Australian New Zealand Solar Energy Society has organised and hosted a unique community to promote sustainability and energy efficiency in every building all over New Zealand and Australia.
Australian New Zealand Solar Energy Society coordinates sustainable house day which takes place in every second week end of September. Australian New Zealand Solar Energy Society organises annual Australasian conference for about two to three days of duration. This organisation includes conference, seminars that are sustainability in buildings, recent research in applying renewable energy resources like biomass, bio fuels, solar thermal, wind, geothermal, tidal and many more.
Australian New Zealand Solar Energy Society organises numerous seminars, meetings and visit all over the year. These activities are arranged by the state branch committees and special interest groups that foster in depth review and data exchange within technological specialisations and application types.
As for sustainable house day coordinated by Australian New Zealand Solar Energy Society is a community event established to promote sustainability in buildings. Earlier the sustainable house day was called as solar house day which was renamed recently. The sustainable house day event gives an opportunity to people to talk to experts and gain ideas regarding the usage of energy resources and the benefits of environmentally responsible designs.
