Opal Polycarbonate panels were chosen to replace acrylic roofing panels in Brisbane for the INVESTA Property Group building. The original acrylic panels were cracked due to a hailstorm which is a regular occurrence on the east coast of Australia.
Polycarbonate is virtually unbreakable, UV resistant and much easier to handle than glass. It is available in standard sheet sizes as well as 2540mm wide continuous spools.
It is an ideal material for signage, ceiling and glazing applications.
