We had an excellent turn out at this year's Sustainability Live and Sustainability Awards Gala Dinner, and we would like to give a big thank you to everyone for coming. We hope you had a fantastic time!

This year we held the second annual Sustainability Live event, this time at The Star in Sydney. We are glad to see that the interest in sustainable building and design has grown since last year, and we are proud to say that we had a fantastic line-up of experts who did a great job delving into this year's topics, some of which were not easy! A particular highlight this year were the supply chain sustainability and mental health panels, which everyone seemed to really enjoy. So thank you to all of our panellists and moderators, and thank you to our audience! You were all very engaged and had an abundance of questions and comments for our panellists, so much so that there wasn't enough time to answer them all!

Left to right: James Grose, Elizabeth Watson Brown, Michael Smit and Joana Almeida discuss how a greener built environment is changing the way we live and work.

We hope you will all join us for next year's Sustainability Live panel event. We will do our best to make it an even bigger and better event with plenty more engaging and important topics to be discussed by our experts.

As for the Sustainability Awards Gala Dinner, 'wow' is the main word that comes to mind. Thank you to everyone for making it an amazing evening! We hope you had as good of a time as we did.

Our MC Tone Wheeler did a fantastic job of carrying us through the awards, where 17 well-deserving winners were honoured. A big congratulations not only to our winners, but to our shortlist as a whole. We saw an excellent standard of design in many of this year's entries, and we hope to see many more for next year's awards. Our 12 esteemed judges did a great job sorting through the entries and we know they had a great time speculating who last night's winners would be!

And lastly, a big thank you to the team at Indesign who did an amazing job putting all of this together. It took a lot of time and effort but both events turned out beautifully and we've had a lot of great feedback from the attendees.

We hope to see you all next year!
