Techne Architecture + Interior Design has promoted architect Sam Sempill to associate.
Sempill has worked at Techne for the past 16 months and has 15 years of industry experience under her belt.
Her project work has spanned a variety of sectors including hospitality, residential, commercial and education.
“Sam is a great asset to our team and her promotion is a natural progression within the Techne business,” says Techne director Nick Travers.
“Having been a restaurant operator and chef herself, Sam brings this valuable first-hand knowledge to the design of some of our hospitality projects.”
Sempill’s interest in design extends beyond her role as a multi-disciplinary architect. She has a strong interest in textile design and construction along with visual arts which she weaves into her architectural design work at Techne.
“I look forward to continuing to impart my broad-ranging design experience across a variety of exciting projects.”
At Techne, she is currently working on the Amora Hotel redevelopment which is set to be completed at the end of 2019.
