Trudy-Ann King, the head of market engagement at the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) is stepping down after nine years with the organisation. King is leaving the organisation to explore new opportunities.

Acknowledging King’s tremendous contribution to the GBCA, chief executive Romilly Madew recalled that Trudy-Ann had started with the organisation in 2008 as the Victorian state manager. She soon stepped into the role of regional development manager for the Asia Pacific where she played a crucial role in establishing new GBCs throughout the region.

Madew also noted that King, as head of GBCA’s market engagement activities for more than six years, expanded their reach and influence, and helped them capture new markets.

King will continue to work with the GBCA until April.
