Open House Melbourne announces the appointment of Emma Telfer to the role of Creative Director.

Currently in her 5th year with Open House Melbourne, a stint that has seen her successfully drive visitor engagement as the organisation's marketing communications consultant, Emma takes on the role of Creative Director in a move that signifies an exciting time of growth and program development for the organisation.

Emma will draw upon her work with the Office for Good Design, a unique curatorial group founded by Emma, Kate Rhodes and Dan Honey that recently curated and produced the MMeets public program for MPavilion, the new summer architecture pavilion presented by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation and the City of Melbourne.

An Open House Melbourne association member and past board member, a board member of NETS (National Exhibitions Touring Support) and Liquid Architecture Festival, Emma also sits on the Arts Centre, Melbourne's Australian Performing Arts Collection Committee.

Welcoming Emma to her new role, Open House Melbourne CEO Paul Gurney said that the appointment acknowledges her significant contribution to the organisation’s vision over the past five years. He looks forward to working collaboratively with Emma to continue Open House's growth as a cultural event for Melbourne.

The Open House Melbourne weekend returns in 2015 on 25 and 26 July and will be supported by a special program that runs throughout the year.
