Nominations will close for the 2016 Sustainability Awards on 28 July.

We’ve received a record number of entries already however some are yet to be completed and cannot be assessed. 

We’re still seeking nominations for the following categories:

SMALL COMMERCIAL
A project designed and built primarily for any commercial purpose (including retail, hospitality, offices, sport & lifestyle) and under 500sqm in floor area.

OFFICE & RETAIL FITOUT 
A renovation to the interior of an office or retail building.

HERITAGE
Any built conservation project developed in accordance with the Australian ICOMOS Burra Charter, or any adaptive reuse of a heritage structure.

INDUSTRIAL & TRANSPORT 
Projects in this category are industrial or transportation in nature and may be single buildings or groups of buildings. They can be new or adaptive reuse projects.

BEST NEWCOMER
A design firm or team, or building products company that is less than five years old and has shown exemplary efforts in advancing the progression of the sustainable built environment in Australia.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT 
A person that has demonstrated an outstanding and unwavering commitment to advancing Australia’s sustainable building sector over the course of their career.

As has always been the case, it is free to enter. Finalists will be announced in the Sep/Oct issue of Infolink-BPN Magazine and Architecture and Design, with winners featured in the Nov/Dec edition after they are announced at a gala presentation in Sydney on 14 October 2016.
