One of the new products to be launched at the 2014 Herald Sun Home Show in Melbourne is a versatile parcel letterbox designed to revolutionise mail delivery in Australia.

Australian designed and engineered, the new Deliver-Eze parcel letterbox accepts large packages and regular mail in a simple and secure way. Featuring world-leading space efficiency and a flexible modular design, the new parcel letterbox meets all the requirements of an integrated home mailbox that can accept online shopping, courier and Australia Post package deliveries.

The parcel letterbox fits just about any installation, integrating stylishly into most kinds of fences and is also available as a standalone pillar.

Designed by former automotive design engineer Neil Silke, the Deliver-Eze parcel letterbox was conceptualised based on his personal experience with missed deliveries and abandoned parcels on the doorstep, which motivated him to seek a smart solution to a problem that affected most busy people.

After studying the available options in the market, he designed a compact, space-efficient solution that met all requirements including aesthetics, ability to accommodate parcels and packages of different sizes along with normal mail deliveries, as well as aspects such as security, ease of use and installation, and durability.

The Deliver-Eze range is already attracting a lot of interest from fencing companies, architects and builders.

The visual aspect has been given a lot of consideration with Neil Silke choosing an upmarket appearance for the parcel letterboxes with plenty of kerb appeal, accentuated by high-quality marine grade stainless steel and powder coat finishes.

The Deliver-Eze parcel letterbox range offers a choice of three models, designed to suit most home applications. Each model integrates a patented anti-theft chute that maximises parcel capacity and allows multiple deliveries into a locked, rear-access storage compartment.

The ‘Malvern’ can be mounted in new or existing timber, brick and most other fence types, while the ‘Brighton’ is suitable for building into brick or block masonry pillars. Both are manufactured in Australia.

The standalone ‘Mosman’ pillar parcel box was developed for homes without front fences and complements contemporary architectural design. Featuring a render-effect composite finish, the parcel box can accommodate large items such as a deep-sided carton of wine and multiple packages with ease.

All models will securely accept the majority of packages, including A3 size, and boxes sized up to 325mm x 315mm x 225mm. The Deliver-Eze parcel letterboxes are tamperproof and weather-resistant in design and finish.

Courier companies and Australia Post can deliver to a Deliver-Eze parcel letterbox without the need for a special code.

Key features of the Deliver-Eze parcel letterbox include precision engineered self-closing delivery chute; large, locking rear retrieval door; shock absorbing mat; integrated Australia Post format barcode to act as proof of delivery; class-leading weather resistance, durability and refinement; easy installation by tradesman or experienced handyman; and first-time delivery assurance for parcels and mail.

Deliveries of online orders to Victoria, NSW, ACT, and South Australia are free.
