The Desktop Engineering magazine has selected the PTC Creo 3.0 design
software suite from PTC Inc. as its Editor’s Pick of the Week for July 16,
2014.
Anthony J. Lockwood, editor at large for Desktop Engineering explains
that PTC Creo 3.0 introduces the company’s new Unite technology that enables
users to open or import CATIA, NX and SolidWorks files directly in their PTC
Creo app and work on them without needing another piece of software. Even Autodesk
Inventor and Solid Edge files can be imported into this design software suite.
The flexibility allowed by the Unite technology enables users to easily
deal with files from clients and colleagues, and even convert a legacy file to
PTC Creo on demand.
