Multi-disciplinary design house HBO+EMTB has announced a new senior appointment for their Perth studio.

Following a successful career in London and the Middle East, Cathy Ingram has been appointed Principal Designer and will lead the firm’s interior design and workplace solutions team in the western capital.

HBO+EMTB Managing Director Kevin Fitzgerald said: “Cathy has a distinguished record in both major markets, with significant projects in corporate, hospitality and retail to her credit.

“One of her particular areas of specialisation is the design and co-ordination of large scale complex fitouts. She worked on the recently completed 1.4 million sqm King Abdul Aziz Endowment project in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, a mixed-use project comprising hospitality, residential and retail.

“Cathy also has an outstanding background in workplace consultancy with a long list of projects for blue chip clients in the Middle East, including Shell, Siemens, Nokia, JP Morgan, Barclays and Credit Suisse and has been particularly active for clients on the Dubai International Financial Centre

“She will be a great asset to the firm and an important leader in our Perth studio,” Mr Fitzgerald said.
