Over 40 architectural practices and design collaborations will be competing for honours at the upcoming 2016 South Australian Architecture Awards program.
Launched by the Australian Institute of Architects, the 2016 South Australian Architecture Awards celebrates the diversity of the State’s finest architectural works with 85 projects vying for awards in various categories including Public Architecture, Educational Architecture, Commercial Architecture, Interior Architecture, Heritage, Residential Architecture, Small Project Architecture and Urban Design.
All projects will now go through a rigorous peer review judging process, commencing with the Jury Presentation Day on Saturday 19 March at the Office for Architecture + Design SA. The community is invited to attend this free event to hear all the entrants present their projects to the jury.
Winners will be announced during the annual Presentation Dinner being held on Saturday 2 July at the award-winning Adelaide Oval, designed by local practices Cox Architecture, Walter Brooke & Associates & Hames Sharley.
