Enlighten 2015 will mark the International Year of Light with a unique celebration of culture, creativity and cuisine throughout Canberra.

To be held from Friday 27 February to Saturday 7 March, Enlighten, one of Canberra’s signature events will return for the fifth spectacular year, breathing light, colour and movement into the national capital’s Parliamentary Triangle, transforming it into a vibrant and bold performance precinct featuring free entertainment such as amusing street artists and enchanting musical performances, all set against a backdrop of stunning architectural projections that shine a light on some of Australia’s most iconic attractions.

Enlighten 2015 features a range of free and ticketed events for the whole family as twelve of the capital’s finest cultural institutions offer up a creative program of events encompassing comedy, dining, art, music and a host of surprising experiences.

A new addition at this year’s program is the Enlighten Night Noodle Markets, creating a bustling atmosphere in the heart of the event with an array of authentic Asian eats, themed bars and live music.
