Professional painters and up and coming painting apprentices from around the country have been acknowledged in the 2012 Dulux Accredited Awards.
The Dulux Accredited Program recognises Australian painters that show a high commitment to quality workmanship and a professional approach to customer service.
Dulux Accredited Program Manager, Colleen Jeffery-Court, said this year is an exciting year for the Dulux Accredited Awards.
“We launched a new online entry system this year and are thrilled by the number businesses entering the awards for the first time.
“Also, this year, three of our four apprentice finalists are women, and it’s wonderful to see their skills and achievements being recognised in an industry that is traditionally male dominated,” Jeffery-Court said.
A panel of judges made up of three senior managers from Dulux Australia will choose a state and national winner for Dulux Painter of the Year, with an overall winner announced for Dulux Accredited Business Professional of the Year and Dulux Accredited Apprentice of the Year.
All winners will be announced at the Dulux Accredited annual conference in Auckland on 17 August 2012.
