The 2008 Telstra Queensland Business of the Year award has been awarded to Centor Architectural after being selected from some of the State’s best businesses.

The Eagle Farm-based, hardware systems provider, was selected from over 18 businesses and

was presented the night’s top award by Ms Deena Shiff, group managing director of Telstra Business and Telstra Business Awards Ambassador.

Centor also won the Panasonic Australia Medium Business Award, which recognises outstanding businesses with 21 to 200 employees and the AMP Innovation Award, which recognises businesses that have introduced an innovative product, service or process.

Centor Architectural is a manufacturing company specialising in systems for bi-folding windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings.

Deena Shiff, Group Managing Director of Telstra Business and Telstra Business Awards Ambassador, congratulated this year’s Queensland award winners and finalists for their outstanding contribution to the Australian business sector.

“The judges were highly impressed by Centor Architectural’s strategic planning, innovation, company vision and its huge potential for growth. These key areas are the building blocks of Centor Architectural’s success and make the company a role model for all Queensland businesses,” Shiff said.
