Tyco Fire Suppression and Building Products is showcasing its new 11.2 K-Factor Illusion Casino Sprinkler - a fast response, extra large office pendent sprinkler with a concealed cover plate for aesthetics.
The sprinkler is suitable for high and elaborate ceilings found in casinos, hotel lobbies, retail buildings, exhibit halls and churches. It has been designed for applications where there is limited water pressure and where a higher applied water density is required. It is also the only sprinkler on the market to comply with the high density requirements in the gaming areas.
A key feature of the concealed sprinkler is the separable two-piece design of the cover plate and support cup, allowing for the installation of the sprinklers and pressure testing of the fire protection system prior to the installation of a suspended ceiling or its finishing coat of paint.
