This year, the Gold Coast Open House program will once again include its Focus on Architecture photography competition.
Photographers of all ages are invited to pack their cameras and take photos of one or several of the 40 buildings and locations that will be part of this year’s program on 4 November. The best images will share $1,500 in prizes.
Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges made up of Gold Coast Open House committee members, architects and sponsors. Both interior and exterior shots are welcome, and judges will award recognition based on creativity, quality of photography and architectural significance.
Entries must be posted on Instagram before 5pm on Wednesday, 8 November. Juniors, primary and secondary school students should hashtag their photos #gcoh17 and #gcoh17jnr, while those entering the open photography section should hashtag their photos #gcoh17 and #gcoh17open.
