161 Castlereagh Street, better known as Liberty Place – ANZ Tower, has achieved an impressive ‘6 Star’ Green Star Office Design rating. The Green Building Council of Australia awarded the highest possible rating as the project clearly demonstrates world leadership in sustainable office design.
SAS International Australia designed, manufactured and supplied SAS150 and SAS320 metal ceilings for 1500m² of the office space. This includes open plan office areas, meeting rooms, corridors and private offices.
The bright white ceiling tiles are perforated with 22% open area. Lined with acoustic fleece, they meet the noise reduction requirement of 0.7 NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient)/30dB.
ANZ Tower’s 42 storeys house the offices of the Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, Herbert Smith Freehills, and The Boston Consulting Group. The monumental glass-walled building is a shining example of the pinnacle of corporate architecture and premium grade office design.
