Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (Yingli Solar) has announced the appointment of Mark Kibby in a newly created role as its Sales & Business Manager in Australia. Yingli Solar is a world-leading manufacturer of vertically integrated photovoltaic modules.
Based in Sydney, Mr Kibby will be responsible for managing and developing Yingli Solar’s sales strategy and growing its distribution to residential and small-scale commercial sales channels. He will report to Daman Cole, Managing Director of Yingli Green Energy Australia Pty Ltd and will assist Mr Cole in developing relationships to expand Yingli Solar’s presence in utility scale and downstream projects.
Daman Cole, Managing Director of Yingli Green Energy Australia Pty Ltd explains that Mr Kibby’s background and experience in utility and downstream solar projects will allow Yingli Solar to increase their focus in targeting these segments as the company continues to grow their business in the residential and commercial markets.
Mr Kibby brings over 15 years of experience in retail energy including six years in the renewable energy industry. Prior to Yingli Solar, he was a Business Development Manager at AEG Power Solutions. Mr Kibby has also previously worked with Suntech, Ingenero and Energex.
Yingli Solar has also appointed Max Dahlbom as its new Customer Service Manager.
