Wideline window suites met the architect’s vision for a heritage aesthetic at the $11M Avignon luxury townhouse development in Sydney's upper north shore.

A boutique Georgian development of 15 luxury townhouses in Warrawee, NSW, each home is precision designed for the most discerning homeowner. Situated in the leafy Ku-ring-ai area, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom residences sprawl over two and three levels, each level accessible by a private, internal elevator.

Designed by MD&A Architects and built by Hutchinson Builders for Landpearl, each townhouse features an intuitive floor plan that combines modern, open plan design with a fresh, indoor/outdoor flow to a north-facing courtyard. Low maintenance and energy efficient materials are inherent throughout.

In keeping with the sophistication and quality aspects of the project, it was essential to choose a window system that would amplify the architect’s vision to recreate a heritage aesthetic and delight both residents and the local community.

Wideline Paragon architectural and Ascend designer range window suites were specified throughout the project. Selected for their superior glazing capabilities and design options, the windows were installed in various configurations including custom arch windows, bar patterns and French doors to enhance the iconic architectural style.

The technical skills and agile approach of Wideline’s service team enabled an efficient build process in what was a particularly detail-oriented project, requiring custom design engineering and installation of arched windows and colonial bars.

Wideline products used in the Avignon luxury townhouse project included Paragon range hinged entry doors, sliding doors, stacking doors and Fixed Lite windows; and Ascend range sliding windows and awning windows, featuring 6.38mm Clear VLam glazing and Dulux Pearl White Gloss finish.
