The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) recently installed their expandable security shutters at the Kurri Kurri Bowling Club near Cessnock in the Hunter Valley.

Kurri Kurri Bowling Club needed to protect poker machines in their gaming rooms. Additionally, there was a compliance issue with NSW smoking laws prohibiting smoking indoors in licensed premises and smoking areas requiring to be kept open to the outdoors.

ATDC’s expandable security shutters installed at the club are precision engineered and custom made to suit each of the apertures. The shutters are top hung from structural support RHS steel members, all designed, supplied and installed by ATDC.

Key features include powder-coated black satin finish to blend in with the club’s interior décor; open grille type shutter with mesh infill allowing full ventilation; ability to expand and fold out of the way when not in use, occupying a mere 15% of total expanded width; and fully framed, lockable and secure design.

ATDC’s expandable security shutters are available nationally in Australia and are also exported throughout the South East Asian region.
