The Wolfin waterproofing system was specified for a leak repair project at an apartment building located in Darling Point.

Wolfin waterproofing membrane was successfully used to rectify leaks coming from decks, garden beds and failed cavity flashings in the building. Commonly encountered in most Strata Buildings, the waterproofing problems in this case were caused by building movement, poor workmanship and the aggressive marine environment. Waterproofing had also failed when the old deck membrane and the cavity flashings didn’t work in conjunction with each other.

Diego Balagna specified the Wolfin system to rectify the ongoing water leakage problems, with the installation carried out by Licensed Wolfin Applicators, David Campbell Building. Wolfin GWSK membrane was installed to the decks and planter boxes while the cavity flashings were reinstated using the Wolfin IB membrane.

Additionally, Wolfin’s 316L stainless steel profiles were used to terminate the membrane to ensure longevity of the waterproofing membrane in the coastal environment.

Projex Group is the sole agent for the Wolfin waterproofing system.
