Cell-cast hole forming disks from Projex Group enable large diameter holes to be produced in poured concrete structures. They are lightweight, being one eighth the weight of steel pipe sleeves and are easy to install, being able to be assembled in just minutes. This makes it possible for one man to do the job.
The hole forming disks come in diameters that range from 74.3 cm to 164.5 cm. Larger diameters are available on request. All diameters are available in 76.2 and 101.6 mm widths and will accommodate any form or wall thickness from 76.2 mm and above with the exception of 127 mm.
These hole forming disks can reduce material costs from between 30 to 50 per cent and cut labour costs by as much as 70 per cent. Their use also minimises freight and handling expenses. They can be relied upon to eliminate the potential leak path between sleeve and concrete and consistently produce dimensionally accurate holes.
