AFL Victoria has entered into a brand new partnership with football goal manufacturer PILA group® for the supply of sustainable goal posts.
Australia’s leading supplier of football goal posts, PILA group Victoria will be equipping hundreds of junior and senior football clubs across the state. The AFL Victoria-PILA group partnership is targeted at providing these community clubs with an affordable goal post supplier.
A total of 1080 clubs and almost 230,000 participants will benefit from the partnership, which will provide them access to high quality facilities and equipment.
PILA group distributes their goal posts extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Made from lightweight and durable fibreglass or aluminium, the football goals are safe, easy to use and available in standard AFL goal post sizes.
PILA’s Territory Manager, George Worland states that PILA is committed to manufacturing high quality and sustainable products for the Australian market at affordable prices. He adds that the partnership with AFL Victoria will enable communities throughout Victoria to have access to high quality sporting infrastructure.
AFL Victoria’s General Manager, Grant Williams welcomed the partnership with PILA, which will benefit its affiliated leagues, their clubs and school programs across the state.
He adds that the partnership will allow AFL to provide goal posts at discounted rates to leagues, clubs and schools running football programs.
PILA group’s aluminium goal posts have been installed at Simonds Stadium, Geelong while fibreglass goal posts, netting poles and flagpoles have been installed at Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast.
