Dinosaurs could not be any cooler, unless they have Helioscreen Australia and New Zealand external blinds shading them from the harsh summer sun.

The Winton Dinosaur Museum in far North Queensland has had nine automated Helioscreen external blinds with Helioscreen sunscreen mesh installed.

In order to extend use of the outside area in harsh temperatures, the external blinds were installed to block strong sun, and reduce heat and glare.

Each external blind is controlled by a single touch remote control and automatic wind control sensors.

External blinds are designed to withstand the toughest of treatments and control the entry of natural light, heat and sun radiation from the outside. They reduce the sun’s penetration and absorb the heat.

Discreet stainless steel side cables or sleek aluminium side channels control the blinds, which can be powder coated to suit any exterior.

These blinds can be manually operated or motorised by Somfy, and come with quality and performance warranties.

The blinds took three weeks to manufacture and only one day to install by a Helioscreen Queensland agent.
