    Australia's premier green business conference garners attention from major businesses

    According to the United Nation’s Global Compact Survey 2010, 96% of CEOs believe that sustainability issues should be fully integrated into the strategy and operations of a company.  

    ‘Corporate Sustainability: A Progress Report by KMPG’ states that nearly two-thirds of companies worldwide have already adopted unified, authentic and transparent sustainability into all elements of their core business strategy, which will grant future generations the benefit of this investment in the long run.

    • Australian representative of United Nations Global Compact, Matthew Tukaki will talk about the impact of Government policy and regulation at both the local and global level, the changing nature of consumer and buyer behaviours when it comes to validation of the business response to climate change and sustainability, as well as the importance of understanding the machinations of organisational supply chains
    • Brendan Fearn of Green Team Australia will provide an introduction on ‘The Awakening Consumer’
    • David Keenan, Vice President Industry, Siemens Ltd, and Chairman of Silcar will explain the link between technology and sustainability
