Architect Madeleine Blanchfield chose natural timber veneers from the Eveneer and WoodWall collections by Elton Group for her own home in the eastern Sydney suburb of Bronte.
Blanchfield has expertly used Eveneer and WoodWall in Frosted Oak colour to create curves as well as a seamless, natural and light-filled living environment at her ‘Tree House’ home.
“By inverting the typical arrangement of a two-storey house and placing the living areas on the top floor, we were able to flood the house with light and capture an outlook into the treetops,” the architect explained.
The Tree House project was shortlisted for the AIDA awards 2020, featured in Belle Magazine, and published in Houses and Grand Designs Australia.
