DMF’s corrosion resistant high speed doors installed at compost waste site

    DMF International

DMF International provided custom designed high speed doors for a challenging application at a compost waste processing site in western Sydney.

Elf Farms sought a high speed door solution that could withstand the highly corrosive ammonium nitrate gas emitted during the composting process. The client was involved in processing compost waste for mushroom farms; ammonium nitrate emissions from the process are highly corrosive, and attack most metals and alloys.

DMF custom-designed high speed doors constructed fully in 304 stainless steel and featuring high performance stainless steel motors and an extremely durable Duraskin PVC panel.

The doors will maintain a tight seal against fumes from the processing plants, while allowing front end loader access by remote activation.
