Breezway Altair louvre windows have been installed in a home in Mooloomba, Queensland to draw fresh coastal breeze inside to cool the interior space naturally.

Located at 85 Mooloomba Road, the home designed by architect Shaun Lockyer of Shaun Lockyer Architects draws its inspiration from the character of the local ‘shack’ that defines North Stradbroke Island.

Simple in design and pragmatic in choice of material, the home emphasises the concepts of light and indoor-outdoor living. Expressed trusses, detailed shutters and rich hardwood accents are some of the design highlights that reference beach living.

Altair louvre windows have been incorporated into the design for their ability to allow fresh coastal breezes in and cool the home without the need for air conditioning.
