Blum utilised its 1100 square metre space at international trendsetting fair Interzum 2011 to showcase its latest innovative fittings, under the motto ‘perfecting motion’.  The space was set up as a range of bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms and kitchens to display the practical applications of Blum’s ergonomic fittings, with more than 300 employees from around the world on hand to present ideas and applications.

Blum was very happy with the turn out at the fair.  David Noakes, National Sales and Marketing Manager at Blum said ‘This year… was a very successful show for Blum and Blum Australia.’

Blum’s display space at Interzum concentrated mainly on the kitchen space, the room in any home where fittings are most utilised.  Blum showcased a variety of kitchen spaces with practical applications for each, including ‘L’ shaped kitchens and kitchen islands.  Each kitchen space was planned using Blum’s dynamic space to produce ergonomic solutions for more convenient and usable kitchens.

Visitors to Blum’s space at Interzum had the opportunity to view Blum’s entire product range, including ‘The user-friendly wall cabinet’ concept and a preview of the new drawer system, Legrabox, which Blum anticipates will receive a very favourable market reaction.

Blum used its visitor’s book to raise awareness of and money for the charity ‘Light of the world’.  The charity helps people with eye disease, blindness and other handicaps in poor regions of the world.  Instead of fair gifts Blum donated 10 euros to the ‘Light of the world’ for every signature collected.
