Artilux will be taking a new product – the Al Fresco pleated screen – to the Sydney Building and Renovation Show at the Dome, Sydney Showground, from July 29 to July 31.

On display at the show will also be other examples of Artilux’s range but the company anticipates the focus will be on the new Al Fresco pleated screen.

The Al Fresco screen is a new style of screen that has recently been added to the Artilux range. Unlike the traditional Artilux spring loaded retractable system, the Al Fresco system is free sliding using a wire tensioning system which allows the screen to stop at any point along the opening. The Al Fresco system is easy to operate and extremely functional.

The mesh has reinforced pleats and a fine wire type thread which holds the mesh in taught, keeps it in place and prevents mesh ‘blow out’.

As with the Artilux retractable screens, the new Al Fresco screen can cover up to 3 metres with one span, or 6 metres with a double unit.

Visitors to the show will see Artilux’s screening solutions for all types of applications, in particular screens for bi-fold and French doors, as well as a range of mesh and fabrics for window and servery applications.
