Announcing the winner: Tall Tree House by Carolin Friese

We are delighted to announce Tall Tree House by architect and interior designer Carolin Friese as the winner of the 2025 Biophilic Design Award in the Interior and Renovation category.

Nestled in a mature beech forest in Bob’s Cove, Queenstown, Tall Tree House is a serene retreat that exemplifies the potential of biophilic design to offer immersive regenerative living. With a focus on natural materials, passive performance, and cultural sensitivity, the project stood out for its deep commitment to environmental and emotional harmony.
