Kömmerling has introduced its first Tomorrow Award 2026, a global initiative designed to recognise and celebrate fabricators leading the way in sustainability across the built environment.

As a brand committed to long-term environmental responsibility, Kömmerling encourages fabricators worldwide to showcase their sustainable practices, spanning operations, processes, product innovation, and overall contribution to a more responsible construction industry.

Following strong international participation, Kömmerling is proud to highlight Australia’s presence on the global stage, with APS Double Glazing named as a finalist. This recognition reinforces the growing role of Australian fabricators in delivering high-performance, energy-efficient solutions aligned with global sustainability goals.

The award carries a €10,000 prize for the winner and €1,000 for finalists, with a unique and meaningful approach – both prizes are donated to a charity of each fabricator’s choice. APS Double Glazing has selected the Royal Children’s Hospital as its charity partner, supporting vital healthcare services within the local community.

The awards were presented in Germany at Fensterbau Frontale, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for windows, doors, and facades.
