The world of architecture is experiencing a new era filled with excitement and intrigue, and it's all thanks to the growing emphasis on sustainable practices.

As a collective, it's our responsibility to ensure that the environment isn't harmed by our actions, and this is where sustainable architects come in. With new innovations and ideas emerging, there has never been a more exciting time to join the ranks of sustainable architects.

Gone are the days when an architect's primary concern was just to create thoughtful spaces. In the modern era, architects must also prioritise environmental impact when designing buildings.

This new way of thinking represents an exciting and uncharted territory, but one that is essential for shaping the future of our world.

In any industry, there are always individuals who stand out and make a significant impact in a short amount of time. The Emerging Sustainable Architect/Designer award category at the 2023 Sustainability Awards is designed to recognize those who have made a positive environmental impact in their first five years as an architect.
