Bildspec has installed a Series 100 remote stacking operable wall for builder MPA Construction at the Victorian head office of leading Australian recruitment firm, Robert Walters.
The brief from the architect, IA design, was for an Rw45 acoustic rated moveable acoustic wall located between the reception area and a multipurpose breakout room for Robert Walter’s staff.
The operable wall was designed to make the entire reception area space adaptable and functional, whereby its dividing panels could be opened up to connect the waiting room and breakout spaces into a larger space, or closed to create a private space with acoustic separation for assembling staff.
The moveable acoustic wall installed at the office includes a full height, double glazed pass door, fixed top sweep seals and bottom mechanical retracting seals. One side of the wall was finished with Navurban Balmoral and the other side with Instyle fabric in colour Arpora Chameleon.
