Delivered with care and collaboration, the project reimagines accessible apartment living - demonstrating that architecture has the power to connect, uplift, and endure.

Developed within the NDIS framework, Millers sets a new benchmark for accessible housing that places dignity, comfort, and independence at its core.

Designed through close collaboration with the client and understanding of user needs, the project delivers one, two, and three-bedroom apartments that balance functionality with calm, enduring beauty.

At the heart of the design is engagement with lived experience - an understanding of how people move through and inhabit their homes.

Each space was shaped with intention, embedding accessibility principles that go beyond compliance, while celebrating light, materiality, and tactility.

The result is architecture that supports autonomy, wellbeing, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Architecturally, Millers responds directly to its residential context. Its form and material palette draw from the surrounding suburban character - brick and vertical cladding expressed with restraint to create a sense of permanence and familiarity.

Corner balconies soften the building’s edges, breaking up the mass and foster a visual connection with the street.

The composition achieves a delicate balance between solidity and openness, making the building feel both contemporary and comfortably grounded in place.

Guided by the belief that matter matters, every line, curve, and surface was considered for how it might enhance everyday life. Open, light-filled interiors encourage connection across kitchen, dining, and living spaces, while durable, low-impact materials bring a sense of calm and longevity.

Millers redefines what inclusive urban living can be - an environment that enables independence while nurturing connection, confidence, and community.
